Sleeping Gods Kickstarter
Red Raven Games

Picture
Red Raven Games and Ryan Laukat have a new game on Kickstarter. Sleeping gods is a I really like Ryan's Above and Below and Near and Far titles so when I saw a new game I had to do some digging.
Picture
In Sleeping Gods you and your friends will become Captain Sofi Odessa and her crew onboard your steamship. You will be sailing and exploring new places, meeting new people and finding Totems of the Gods so that you can return home.

Sleeping Gods is a Campaign style game and your sessions can last as long as you would like. It is also a story book game where you will be reading a story about all of your adventures, treasures and people that you will be encountering. Ever choice that you make can/will change your games outcome.

I really enjoyed the story telling aspects in both Above and Below and Near and Far, this is what I liked most about those games. Laukat is great at submersing you in to a new world. This game however takes it one step further and makes choices really matter in this new campaign style game. You can play solo and that characters can be easily swapped out, which really helps with changing gaming groups.

Sleeping Gods and the Tides of Ruin expansion are both on Kickstarter now until August 29th, 2019.
