Tapestry
Stonemaier Games

Picture
The very talented Jamey Stegmaier has announced his next game, Tapestry. We all know Jamey from some great titles like Viticulture and Scythe and now his latest, Tapestry.
Picture
Tapestry is a 90-120 minute civilization game that will play with 1-5 players. You will be creating a civilization beginning from the beginning of humanity and stretching into the future. Your civilization will be unique and have plenty of twists and turns while you decide how you want to advance your civilization. The 4 advancement tracks are Science, Military, Technology and Exploration. You will be building your capital, using your abilities, earning victory points and tapestry cards that will tell your story of your civilization.

In the past Jamey Stegmaier has made some games that I love, I see this one being no exception. I grew up playing civilization on my NEC computer and still have a soft spot for this type of game. I love the idea of the tapestry cards and telling a story of the civilization that I will create. Tapestry will be available for pre-order on Stonemaier Games' website and for sale at Essen Spiel. I look forward to playing this one.
